The supreme council of scholars of Jamia Al-Azhar Egypt has given Fatwa regarding Coronavirus. Islamic scholars of Jamia Al-Azhar have said that Congregational Prayer and Jumma Prayer should be restricted to protect human lives.
President Arif Alawi had asked the Sheikh Al-Azahr for his guidance through ambassador of Egypt. According to the Fatwa of Jamia Al-Azhar, the coronavirus spreads at speed, one of the biggest goals of Islamic law is to save human life and to protect it from risks and dangers.
According to scholars of Jamia Al-Azhar, officials of every Muslim country are allowed to cease Congregational Prayer and Jumma Prayer, people should stay at home should not take part in Congregational Prayer and Jumma Prayer.
According to Jamia Al-Azhar, public gatherings become a reason for the spreading of the virus. President of the country will be doing a video link conference with Minister of religious affairs, Jed Ulema and governor tomorrow.
